Jio Glass is a new Mixed Reality solution demonstrated by Reliance Industries Limited during its 43rd Annual General Meeting at present it is one of the most contemporary projects by the company. They showcased how this will help schools and businesses with classes and meetings respectively. However, they didn’t explain how it works.

With the help of the Jio glass, the users will have access to build a 3D virtual room where others can join and covey a class or a meeting. by using these 3D virtual rooms, the users will be ready to use holographic images of themselves, illustrate graphs, and other presentations.

To offer a quick illustration, by Kiran Thomas the president of RIL came on stage and said “Hello Jio, Please call Aakash and Isha”, while wearing his pair of Jio Glass. This routed to Jio Glass connecting to a call with Aakash and Isha Ambani. although the advent of the 3D avatar was taken by Aakash, Isha merged the call using a 2D interface. Both of them were detectable in a virtual room to Thomas.

Kiran Thomas, during the AGM, said, “Jio Glass is at the cutting edge of technology that provides best-in-class Mixed Reality services to give users a truly meaningful immersive experience.”

The weight of the Jio Glass is around 75 grams and to stay connected it will need a smartphone and can be connected through by using wire. Jio titles that will bring support for 25 apps that will enable inflated reality video meetings, games, and much more. it also supports a high-resolution display for the user to have a crystal clear experience in the meetings.

Currently, the company has not acknowledged enough details about Jio Glass except for the specifications and features, we are not even aware of when this device will be ready for purchase in India. moreover, the product sounds interesting and a lot of enthusiasts will be delighted to check this new device.

Other than that Jio Glass, Reliance Industries Limited also made a few other big declarations. Recently the company was testing Jio 5G and has assured that the trials will start from next year before the spectrums are sold. Also, the company has collaborated with Google and they are now working on 5G smartphones which will be available at reasonable rates in India.
