An image of the upcoming smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8 has been showed up on Chinese Micro Blogging website,Weibo. The image shows the front panel of handset witho no physical buttons below the display, no home button, no back button, no multi tasking button just a long bezel display with a Samsung logo on it.

Since there are no buttons, the bezels on top and bottom are thinner than the current models. Only the company logo is visible at the bottom. The top bezel is seen featuring a speaker, sensors and the front-facing camera. Also, according to several leaks and rumors, there is a dual-curved edge display seen visible in the image too.

Since the text written on the screen is in Chinese language, it’s difficult to decipher if this is the final product or just one of the testing units maybe it can be a copy of phones like we have seen a lot of copy phones of iPhone, htc and many more. There is no such confirmation on the design from Samsung.

Earlier reports relating to Galaxy S8 hinted that the smartphone may come in two variants based on screen size and resolution. While one version is expected to feature a 5.1-inch Quad HD display, the other will have a 5.5-inch Super Amoled display of 4K resolution. Both variants are expected to be powered by either of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Samsung Exynos 8895 SoCs, based on the markets they are made available in.

The 5.5-inch 4K resolution display variant is additionally expected to feature a dual-rear camera setup, as well as a new artificial intelligence (AI) feature that’ll replace S-Voice.

Preliminary reports have suggested that Galaxy S8 would pack a combination of 12MP and 13MP rear sensors. While the 12MP S5K2L2 sensor is expected to be the same as in the current model, the 13MP sensor may be made by Sony. Similar to other handsets, the dual-rear camera will give users better control over ‘depth of field’ in images.
